Context
Moroccan accounting firms manage DGI-compliant electronic invoicing and tax filings for many small-business clients at once, largely through manual, per-client processes.
Missed deadlines and inconsistent filings are the main risk — for the firm and for the client.
Approach
I built DGI-compliant electronic invoicing and automated the recurring tax and regulatory filings, so a firm handles the same compliance work for many clients through one system instead of repeating it per client.
A client alert system flags upcoming deadlines and missing documents before they become a problem, on top of a documented API so the platform can plug into a firm's existing tools.
Stack: Django and PostgreSQL for the compliance logic, Celery for the scheduled filings, React for the interface, Redis for queuing.
Outcome
Firms get one system for invoicing, filings, and client communication instead of stitching it together by hand.
