Context
SIL UM6P had existing systems that were slowing people down in specific, recurring ways — not a generic "we need new software" situation.
The starting point was an audit of where time was actually being lost, not a feature wishlist.
Approach
I audited the existing systems and processes, identified the operations that were genuinely bottlenecked, and built automation around SIL UM6P's real workflows instead of adapting an off-the-shelf tool to fit.
Stack: NestJS and PostgreSQL for the backend, React for the interface, Docker for deployment.
Outcome
Systems now match how the team actually works, rather than forcing the team to work around the system.
